AN AREA OF SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PUSHED INTO EXTREME
SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI DURING THE PREDAWN HOURS.
WHILE RAINFALL WAS SPOTTY...SOME LOCATIONS LIKELY SAW OVER A
HALF INCH OF RAINFALL DUE TO THE SLOW MOVING NATURE OF THIS
ACTIVITY. THE REMAINDER OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS SAW DRY CONDITIONS
UNDER INCREASING HIGH CLOUDS. EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES WERE IN
THE UPPER 60S AND LOWER 70S...WHICH IS FAIRLY CLOSE TO NORMAL FOR
THIS TIME OF YEAR.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THIS
MORNING...WITH THIS ACTIVITY THEN DECREASING IN COVERAGE BY THIS
AFTERNOON. HOT CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TODAY WITH HIGHS RANGING
FROM THE LOWER 90S ACROSS THE EASTERN OZARKS TO THE UPPER 90S
ALONG AND WEST OF THE INTERSTATE 49 CORRIDOR.

EXCEPT FOR AN OUTSIDE SHOT AT THUNDERSTORMS LATE TONIGHT ACROSS
CENTRAL MISSOURI...DRY AND HOT CONDITIONS ARE THEN EXPECTED
THROUGH THE END OF THIS WEEK. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE
MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S WITH LOWS IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 70S.
