IT WAS A SLIGHTLY COOLER AFTERNOON ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND THE
MISSOURI OZARKS. WITH ONLY SOME SCATTERED CUMULUS
CLOUDS...TEMPERATURES WARMED INTO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 90S BUT
HUMIDITY LEVELS WERE LOWER THAN THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS.

ANY CLOUDS WILL DISSIPATE THIS EVENING WITH CLEAR SKIES EXPECTED FOR
MUCH OF THE EVENING. HOWEVER CLOUDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE LATE TONIGHT
ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING
WEAK COLD FRONT. LOOK FOR OVERNIGHT LOWS TO DROP INTO THE UPPER 60S TO
LOWER 70S.

THIS COLD FRONT WILL BRING SOME RELIEF FROM THE HEAT AND DRY
CONDITIONS AS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY BRING SOME
WIDESPREAD RAINS TO THE REGION FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. THE CLOUDS AND
RAIN WILL DROP TEMPERATURES BACK TO NEAR SEASONAL NORMALS.

SUNDAY INTO MONDAY LOOK TO BE TYPICAL FOR LATE SUMMER WITH HIGHS IN
THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 80S AND A CHANCE FOR AN AFTERNOON SHOWER OR
STORM.
