THE AREA IS LOCATED BETWEEN HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED OVER THE
SOUTHEASTERN STATES AND LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING IN THE NORTHERN
PLAINS. THIS IS RESULTING IN A WINDY DAY ACROSS THE REGION...WITH
SUSTAINED SOUTHERLY WINDS IN THE 15 TO 20 MPH RANGE AND GUSTS
BETWEEN 25 AND 35 MPH. UNDER MAINLY SUNNY SKIES...TEMPERATURES ARE
RESPONDING NICELY...WITH MIDDAY READINGS RANGING FROM THE 50S IN
THE EASTERN OZARKS TO THE UPPER 60S NEAR THE MISSOURI KANSAS STATE
LINE.

FOR THE REST OF TODAY...IT WILL REMAIN WINDY AND UNSEASONABLY
WARM. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE 50S IN THE EASTERN OZARKS TO THE
MID 70S ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

MORE SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES FOR LATE JANUARY WILL RETURN THURSDAY
AND BEYOND AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA LATE TONIGHT.
THE NEXT CHANCE FOR MEASURABLE PRECIPITATION WILL COME THIS
WEEKEND AS A STORM SYSTEM MOVES JUST SOUTH OF OUR REGION.
