QUIET AND COLD WEATHER OCCURRED LAST NIGHT OVER FAR SOUTHEAST
KANSAS AND ADJACENT AREAS OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS. PREDAWN
TEMPERATURES AT MOST AIRPORT SITES WERE IN THE 20S.

DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED TODAY AS A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE MOVES
EAST THROUGH THE AREA. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM NEAR 40 OVER CENTRAL
MISSOURI TO NEAR 50 OVER FAR SOUTHWEST MISSOURI AND SOUTHEAST
KANSAS.

A FAST MOVING STORM SYSTEM MAY GLANCE CENTRAL MISSOURI FROM LATE
TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING BRINGING A CHANCE FOR LIGHT SNOW OR
RAIN. OTHERWISE...DRY AND CHILLY WEATHER IS EXPECTED FOR
THANKSGIVING WITH LIGHT WINDS. BREEZY AND MUCH WARMER WEATHER IS
THEN EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ON FRIDAY AND CONTINUE SATURDAY.
