STRONG HIGH PRESSURE IN THE UPPER LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE
REMAINED IN CONTROL OF THE REGIONS WEATHER LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES HELPED A LITTLE...BUT TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE
OZARKS WERE SILL IN THE UPPER 80S TO MIDDLE 90S.

A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND PORTIONS
OF WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI THROUGH 7PM THIS EVENING.

A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS NORTHERN
MISSOURI THIS EVENING ALONG AN ADVANCING COLD FRONT. THIS LINE IS
EXPECTED TO MOVE TO THE SOUTH...SOUTHWEST AND INTO THE AREA LATE
THIS EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. ADDITIONAL...SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY.

TEMPERATURES BEHIND THIS COLD FRONT WILL BE COOLER ON THURSDAY...
WITH HIGHS GENERALLY IN THE 80S. SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL RETURN
FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND RESULT IN TYPICAL LATE JULY HEAT
AND HUMIDITY. THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CHANCE FOR RAIN BY THE WEEKEND
AS ANOTHER FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE NORTH.
