CLOUDS PERSISTED ACROSS MUCH OF THE OZARKS THROUGH THE MORNING
HOURS...WHILE SOUTHEAST KANSAS ENJOYED SUNNY SKIES. LATE THIS
MORNING THE CLOUDS WERE BEGINNING TO ERODE ACROSS THE MISSOURI
OZARKS. LATE MORNING READINGS WERE GENERALLY IN THE UPPER 20S TO
LOWER 30S.

SKIES WILL CONTINUE TO CLEAR THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS TODAY WITH
THE EASTERN OZARKS BEING THE LAST LOCATIONS TO SEE ANY SUNSHINE.
LOOK FOR AFTERNOON HIGHS TO RANGE FROM THE MIDDLE 30S IN CENTRAL
MISSOURI...TO THE MIDDLE 40S IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES CAN BE EXPECTED TONIGHT ACROSS THE
REGION. WINDS WILL SWITCH AROUND TO A MORE SOUTHERLY DIRECTION AND
BEGIN TO INCREASE TOWARDS MORNING ACROSS EASTERN KANSAS AND FAR
WESTERN MISSOURI. LOOK FOR OVERNIGHT LOWS TO DROP INTO THE MIDDLE
20S TO THE LOWER 30S.

BREEZY AND WARMER CONDITIONS ARE IN THE FORECAST FOR FRIDAY INTO THE
WEEKEND. AFTERNOON HIGHS IN THE 50S FRIDAY WILL WARM INTO THE 60S
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. HOWEVER A COLD FRONT POISED TO MOVE THROUGH THE
AREA LATE SUNDAY WILL BRING COOLER WEATHER BACK FOR EARLY NEXT WEEK.
