EVENING TEMPERATURES HAD COOLED INTO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 70S
ACROSS THE MISSOURI OZARKS AND FAR SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

HIGH PRESSURE MOVING SOUTHWARD FROM THE NORTHERN PLAINS WILL
BRING TEMPORARY RELIEF FROM THE HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WITH
OVERNIGHT LOWS TONIGHT DIPPING INTO THE MIDDLE 60S AND HIGHS ON
WEDNESDAY ONLY REACHING THE MIDDLE 80S.

AFTER A SLIGHT RISK OF THUNDERSTORMS ON THURSDAY WITH HIGH
TEMPERATURES IN THE 80S...HOT AND DRY WEATHER WILL RETURN FOR
THE WEEKEND WITH HIGHS NEAR 90 DEGREES ON FRIDAY...RISING INTO THE
LOWER 90S FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
