HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT HAS BEGUN BUILDING INTO THE REGION. AFTER A
FEW SHOWERS AND SCATTERED CLOUDS THIS MORNING...SKIES CLEARED
DURING THE AFTERNOON AND TEMPERATURES WARMED QUICKLY INTO THE 90S.
HOTTEST CONDITIONS WERE ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND A
GOOD PART OF SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI...WHERE READINGS REACHED INTO
THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 90S.

QUIET...THOUGH CONTINUED WARM...CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST TONIGHT.
OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE IN THE LOWER 70S.

EXCEPT FOR AN OUTSIDE SHOT AT THUNDERSTORMS LATE TONIGHT ACROSS
CENTRAL MISSOURI...DRY AND HOT CONDITIONS ARE THEN EXPECTED THROUGH
THE END OF THIS WEEK. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE TO
UPPER 90S WITH LOWS IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 70S.
