IT WAS A RATHER WET AND CLOUDY MORNING ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND
THE MISSOURI OZARKS. LATE THIS MORNING RAIN SHOWERS WERE FALLING
ACROSS THE OZARKS WITH AREAS OF DRIZZLE ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS.
TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN THE MIDDLE 40S AREA WIDE.

RAIN SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF THE AFTERNOON...BUT DRIER
AIR WILL BEGIN TO FILTER INTO SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI
LATE THIS AFTERNOON. THIS DRYING TREND WILL THEN CONTINUE OVER THE
REMAINDER OF THE AREA THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS. LOOK FOR AFTERNOON
HIGHS IN THE UPPER 40S TO THE LOWER 50S AND LOWS TONIGHT IN THE MID
TO UPPER 30S.

COLDER TEMPERATURES WILL SPREAD INTO THE AREA TUESDAY NIGHT INTO
WEDNESDAY. LIGHT SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY
BEFORE ENDING WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.

SUNNY SKIES AND INCREASING SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL RESULT IN A WARM
UP OCCUR CHRISTMAS DAY AS HIGHS TOP OUT IN THE UPPER 40S TO LOWER
50S.
