A BAND OF HIGH CLOUDS WERE PUSHING SOUTHWARD ACROSS THE AREA THIS
EVENING. LATE EVENING TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MIDDLE 30S IN
SOUTHEAST KANSAS UNDER THE CLOUDS...TO THE UPPER 20S OVER SOUTH
CENTRAL MISSOURI WHERE SKIES WERE CLEAR. LOOK FOR THIS BAND TO
CONTINUE TO PUSH TO THE SOUTHEAST TONIGHT AS OVERNIGHT LOWS DROP
INTO THE MIDDLE 20S.

MAINLY SUNNY SKIES ARE EXPECTED SATURDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS IN
CONTROL OF THE WEATHER. AFTERNOON HIGHS ON SATURDAY WILL REBOUND
BACK TO NEAR 50 IN THE EASTERN OZARKS TO THE MIDDLE 50S IN SOUTHEAST
KANSAS.

A STORM SYSTEM WILL DROP SOUTHEAST THROUGH ILLINOIS ON SUNDAY. THIS
WILL PRODUCE SOME GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS ACROSS THE AREA...BUT
TEMPERATURES WILL BE MILD WITH HIGHS IN THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 50S. A
FEW SPRINKLES OR SOME LIGHT RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE EASTERN
OZARKS AS WELL.

OTHERWISE...QUIET AND MILD WEATHER WILL PREVAIL INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK
WITH SEASONABLE TO ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES EXPECTED.
