A MILD...TRANQUIL DAY HAS TAKEN SHAPE ACROSS THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND FAR SOUTHEAST KANSAS TODAY. TEMPERATURES WARMED INTO
UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S IN MOST AREAS WITH THE EXCEPTION BEING
ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI WHERE TEMPERATURES WARMED ONLY INTO THE
LOWER 50S.

CLEAR AND CALM CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE
OVERNIGHT WITH TEMPERATURES LOWERING INTO THE LOWER TO
MIDDLE 30S.

ON WEDNESDAY...TEMPERATURES MAY APPROACH 70 DEGREES IN
SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI...WITH SOMEWHAT
COOLER 50S AND 60S ELSEWHERE. WINDS WILL INCREASE WITH GUSTS UP TO
AROUND 30 MILES PER HOUR POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS
AND THE WESTERN OZARKS.

MORE SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES FOR LATE JANUARY WILL RETURN THURSDAY
AND BEYOND. THE NEXT CHANCE FOR MEASURABLE PRECIPITATION WILL COME
SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT AS A STORM SYSTEM MOVES SOUTH OF OUR REGION.
