A FEW LIGHT SHOWERS MOVED EASTWARD THROUGH EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS
AND THE MISSOURI OZARKS THIS AFTERNOON. UNDER MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES
AND LIGHT SOUTHERLY WINDS AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN
THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S.

SKIES WILL CLEAR TONIGHT AS THE LIGHT RAIN MOVES OFF TO THE EAST.
LOOK FOR OVERNIGHT LOWS TO RANGE FROM THE MIDDLE 40S ACROSS THE
EASTERN OZARKS...TO THE LOWER 50S IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

UNUSUALLY WARM WEATHER IS THEN EXPECTED FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY AS A
LARGE WARM AIR MASS EXPANDS EASTWARD INTO THE REGION. MANY AREAS
WILL SEE HIGHS REACH INTO THE LOWER 80S OVER THE UPCOMING WEEKEND.

LOW PRESSURE WILL APPROACH FROM THE WEST LATE MONDAY WITH INCREASED
SOUTHERLY WINDS FOLLOWED BY A PERIOD OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY. COOLER WEATHER IS THEN EXPECTED TUESDAY
AND WEDNESDAY AFTER THE PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT.
