AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE CENTERED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PLAINS
WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR WIDESPREAD CLOUD COVER ACROSS THE REGION
SATURDAY AFTERNOON. RAIN ALSO FELL...MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE
INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR WHERE RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF A QUARTER TO A
HALF INCH WERE COMMON. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WERE MILD WITH MOST
AREAS WARMING INTO THE LOWER AND MIDDLE 50S. SOME LOCATIONS ALONG
THE INTERSTATE 49 CORRIDOR DID MANAGE TO WARM INTO THE UPPER 50S.

ANOTHER ROUND OF WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WILL DEVELOP
LATE TONIGHT AND CONTINUE ON SUNDAY...BEFORE EXITING THE REGION
LATE SUNDAY NIGHT. TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO AVERAGE
AROUND AN INCH...WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS APPROACHING TWO INCHES FOR
THE WEEKEND.

THE OUTLOOK FOR NEXT WEEK CALLS FOR MAINLY DRY CONDITIONS AND NEAR
TO BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES.
