STRONG HIGH PRESSURE IN THE UPPER LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE
REMAINED OVER THE REGION AND WAS SUPPRESSING STORM DEVELOPMENT
ALONG AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES REMAINED OVER
THE AREA WITH TEMPERATURES HAVING FALLEN INTO THE UPPER 70S TO
MIDDLE 80S ACROSS THE OZARKS.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP ACROSS NORTHERN MISSOURI LATE THIS
EVENING ALONG AN ADVANCING COLD FRONT. THESE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
MOVE TO THE SOUTH...SOUTHWEST AND INTO THE AREA LATE TONIGHT INTO THE
EARLY MORNING HOURS. ADDITIONAL...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY.

TEMPERATURES BEHIND THIS COLD FRONT WILL BE SLIGHTLY COOLER ON
THURSDAY... WITH HIGHS GENERALLY IN THE 80S. SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL
RETURN FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND RESULT IN TYPICAL LATE JULY
HEAT AND HUMIDITY. THERE WILL BE ANOTHER CHANCE FOR RAIN BY THE
WEEKEND AS ANOTHER FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE NORTH.
