A COLD FRONT PUSHED THROUGH THE MISSOURI OZARKS AND SOUTHEAST
KANSAS YESTERDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRED ACROSS THE
AREA...MOSTLY ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI. SEVERAL INCHES OF
RAIN OCCURRED ACROSS FAR SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI ALONG THE MISSOURI
ARKANSAS BORDER YESTERDAY EVENING.

TEMPERATURES HAD DROPPED OVERNIGHT INTO THE LOW 60S OVER WEST
CENTRAL MISSOURI INTO EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS...WITH READINGS
STILL IN THE LOW 70S OVER SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS CLOSER TO THE FRONT.

THE COOLER AIR MASS WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD SOUTHEAST TODAY WITH
HIGHS FROM THE MID 60S NORTH TO MID 70S SOUTH. CLOUD COVER IS
EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN PLACE TODAY.

THE COOLER THAN NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE
WEEKEND AS THE CANADIAN AIR MASS CONTINUES TO MOVE INTO THE AREA.
THERE WILL BE A CHANCE OF SOME LIGHT RAIN ON FRIDAY WITH CLEARING
EXPECTED TO TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY.
