IT WAS A COOL SUMMER NIGHT OVER EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND THE
MISSOURI OZARKS. TEMPERATURES HAD ALREADY COOLED INTO THE
60S...UNDER MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS.

COOL WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE REST OF THE WEEK WITH HIGHS
IN THE 70S THROUGH FRIDAY. A STORM SYSTEM WILL PASS BY TO THE
SOUTH OF THE AREA THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY AND BRING SCATTERED SHOWERS
MAINLY ACROSS SOUTHERN MISSOURI. A SLOW WARMING TREND WILL RETURN
INTO THE WEEKEND.
