HIGH PRESSURE WAS BUILDING IN FROM THE NORTHWEST THIS EVENING. THIS
TREND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. MID EVENING
TEMPERATURES HAVE ALREADY DROPPED INTO THE UPPER 20S TO MIDDLE 30S.
WITH CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS THE REMAINDER OF THE NIGHT
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO FALL INTO THE UPPER TEENS TO LOWER 20S
FOR MORNING LOWS.

SLIGHTLY COOLER TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED ON THURSDAY AS THE HIGH
BEGINS TO SLIDE EAST OF THE AREA. UNDER MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES
AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM AROUND 40 ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI TO
NEAR 50 IN FAR SOUTHWEST MISSOURI AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

A WARMING TREND IS IN STORE FROM LATE THIS WEEK INTO THE WEEKEND.
PRECIPITATION SHOULD ENTER THE FORECAST BY LATE THURSDAY NIGHT AND
CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND...WITH THE BEST CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND
PERHAPS A THUNDERSTORM FROM FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT.
LOOK FOR HIGHS TO WARM FROM THE 40S ON FRIDAY TO THE MIDDLE 50S
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
