CLOUDS WERE ON THE INCREASE THIS MORNING IN RESPONSE TO A SOUTHERLY
FLOW. OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES ACTUALLY ROSE FROM EVENING LOWS AROUND
FREEZING. MORNING TEMPERATURES GENERALLY RANGED FROM THE MIDDLE
30S ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI TO THE MIDDLE 40S ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN
MISSOURI.

A STORM SYSTEM CENTERED OVER THE DESERT SOUTHWEST WILL TRACK
EASTWARD INTO THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY THIS WEEKEND BRINGING AN
INCREASING CHANCE OF RAIN. AREAS OF LIGHT RAIN AND SPRINKLES WILL
DEVELOP TODAY AND TONIGHT. RAINFALL WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD
SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS THROUGH THE
WEEKEND WILL RANGE FROM ONE HALF OF AN INCH TO AROUND AN INCH AND
A HALF.

A COOLER AIRMASS WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION EARLY NEXT WEEK
FOLLOWING THE PASSAGE OF THIS SYSTEM.
