QUIET WEATHER OCCURRED WEDNESDAY EVENING AS CLOUDS INCREASED FROM
THE WEST. LATE EVENING TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 20S AT
WEST PLAINS TO THE UPPER 30S AT JOPLIN AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA TONIGHT AND EARLY
THURSDAY. WINDY AND COLD WEATHER WITH SOME LIGHT SNOW AND FLURRIES
WILL OCCUR BEHIND THE FRONT. LOWS WILL BE IN THE TEEMS AND LOWER
20S BY DAYBREAK.

VERY COLD TEMPERATURES CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH FRIDAY WITH A
GRADUAL MODEST WARMING TREND FOR SATURDAY. A MIX OF WINTRY
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND.
