CLOUDS HAD OVERSPREAD THE AREA EARLY THIS MORNING WHILE SCATTERED
SHOWERS HAD DEVELOPED FROM EASTERN KANSAS INTO FAR SOUTHWESTERN
MISSOURI. EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 50S IN
THE EASTERN OZARKS TO THE UPPER 60S CLOSER TO MISSOURI AND KANSAS
BORDER

SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND FAR SOUTHWESTERN
MISSOURI TODAY. OTHERWISE TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN BELOW NORMAL
FOR MID SUMMER WITH HIGHS RANGING FROM THE MIDDLE 70S IN SOUTHWESTERN
MISSOURI TO NEAR 80 DEGREES ELSEWHERE.

THE COOLER THAN NORMAL WEATHER WILL PERSIST THROUGH FRIDAY WITH
WARMING TREND EXPECTED THIS WEEKEND.
