At 328 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Golden City to Lockwood to 7 miles northwest of Miller to 9 miles northwest of Mount Vernon to 6 miles east of Sarcoxie to near Pierce City. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
