SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI.

SOUTHEASTERN CEDAR COUNTIES UNTIL 200 AM CDT...

AT 139 AM CDT...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM 8 MILES SOUTHWEST OF STOCKTON TO 10 MILES SOUTH OF
LOCKWOOD...AND MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

HAZARD...60 MPH WIND GUSTS AND PENNY SIZE HAIL.

IMPACT...EXPECT DAMAGE TO ROOFS...SIDING AND TREES.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
EVERTON...GREENFIELD...LOCKWOOD AND STOCKTON.

THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES STOCKTON LAKE AND STOCKTON STATE PARK.

REMAIN ALERT FOR A POSSIBLE TORNADO! TORNADOES CAN DEVELOP QUICKLY
FROM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. IF YOU SPOT A TORNADO GO AT ONCE INTO THE
BASEMENT OR SMALL CENTRAL ROOM IN A STURDY STRUCTURE.

FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A
BUILDING.

IF ON OR NEAR STOCKTON LAKE...GET AWAY FROM THE WATER AND MOVE TO
SHELTER. IF YOU CAN HEAR THUNDER...YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE STRUCK
BY LIGHTNING. BOATS CAN BE SWAMPED BY LARGE CAPSIZING WAVES...EVEN
ON SMALL BODIES OF WATER. MOVE INTO DOCK AND SEEK SAFE SHELTER NOW.
