A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR FREEZING DRIZZLE AND SNOW REMAINS IN
EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY.

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING
  ON TOP OF THE 4 TO 7 INCHES OF SNOWFALL THAT HAS ALREADY
  OCCURRED. AREAS WHERE THE SNOW PLOWS HAVE CLEARED THE SNOW WILL
  LIKELY BE SLICK DUE TO A THIN GLAZE OF ICE FROM THE FREEZING
  DRIZZLE. THE FREEZING DRIZZLE IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH
  THE MORNING.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH
  CENTRAL MISSOURI THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS...GENERALLY AROUND
  THE INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR EAST OF HIGHWAY 65.

* SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS...LITTLE OR NO ADDITIONAL SNOW
  ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS... FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CAUSE A GLAZE OF ICE
  TO EXPOSED SURFACES THROUGH THE MORNING.

* IMPACTS...ROAD CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN HAZARDOUS THROUGH THIS
  MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF FREEZING
DRIZZLE AND SNOW ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.
CONSIDER TAKING A WINTER STORM KIT ALONG WITH YOU. THIS KIT SHOULD

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR FREEZING DRIZZLE AND SNOW REMAINS
IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY.

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE
  MORNING HOURS WITH AN ADDITIONAL GLAZING OF ICE EXPECTED.
  ANOTHER BAND OF SNOW WAS DEVELOPING OVER SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS
  AND WILL PUSH EAST INTO EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS INTO WEST
  CENTRAL AND CENTRAL MISSOURI THIS MORNING WITH AN ADDITIONAL
  INCH OR LESS OF SNOW EXPECTED IN AREAS WHERE THIS BAND OF SNOW OCCURS.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...THROUGH THIS MORNING ACROSS THE
  MISSOURI OZARKS AND SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...AN INCH OR LESS ADDITIONAL SNOW IS EXPECTED
  OVER PARTS OF CENTRAL MISSOURI AND A SMALL PART OF EXTREME
  SOUTHEAST KANSAS THROUGH THE MORNING.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...WHILE THE FREEZING RAIN HAS ENDED...FREEZING
  DRIZZLE WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE MORNING AND WILL BRING AN
  ADDITIONAL GLAZING OF ICE TO EXPOSED SURFACES.

* IMPACTS...THE COMBINATION OF FALLING AND ACCUMULATING SNOW AS
  WELL AS ICE WILL MAKE TRAVEL CONDITIONS HAZARDOUS. THE KANSAS
  AND MISSOURI DEPARTMENTS OF TRANSPORTATION CONTINUE TO REPORT
  SNOW AND ICE COVERED ROADWAYS ALONG WITH NUMEROUS SLIDE OFFS AND
  ACCIDENTS.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW AND FREEZING
