.DISCUSSION...High pressure overhead will continue to bring a warming
trend today, along with sunny skies and light winds. A wind shift to
southwesterly will occur midday as the lake breeze once again pushes
through the area. Stable air associated with this lake breeze will
continue to limit mixing, and keep the Clearing Index below 500 today.
Southwesterly flow will increase Friday, allowing for better mixing
which will boost the Clearing Index above 500. Moisture within this
flow will result in an increase in mid and high clouds Friday
afternoon.
