.MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW OF AND FLOODING OF LOW-LYING COASTLINE AREAS
WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THE EVENINGS THROUGH SUNDAY DUE TO HIGH
TIDES PEAKING NEAR OR ABOVE 7 FEET. HIGH TIDES SHOULD LOWER ENOUGH
BY MONDAY TO DIMINISH THE TIDAL FLOODING THREAT.

* TIDES...HIGH TIDES NEAR OR ABOVE 7 FEET AT AROUND 940 PM
  THIS EVENING...AND AROUND 1025 PM SUNDAY EVENING.

* TIMING...THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING DURING THE TIMES OF HIGH TIDE.

* IMPACTS...LOCALIZED MINOR FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS ALONG
  THE COASTLINE...INCLUDING BEACH PARKING LOTS AND POSSIBLY INTO
  SOME ROADS ADJACENT TO THE BEACHES. PARTICULARLY SUSCEPTIBLE
  AREAS INCLUDE THE PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY AT SUNSET AND SEAL
  BEACHES... NEWPORT BEACH...OCEANSIDE BEACH...LA JOLLA...AND
  IMPERIAL BEACH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT FOR MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW MEANS THAT
HIGH ASTRONOMICAL TIDES POSSIBLY IN COMBINATION WITH ABOVE NORMAL
SURF WILL LIKELY PRODUCE MINOR FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS ALONG
THE BEACH SUCH AS BEACH PARKING LOTS. COASTAL OFFICIALS SHOULD
TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES TO SAFEGUARD THEIR
BEACHES.
