.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
A frontal boundary will approach the waters late this afternoon,
then push offshore tonight. A moderate to strong offshore flow
will occur tonight through Friday as high pressure builds into
the area behind the cold front. Widespread showers are expected
Thursday night into Friday morning as moisture increases ahead of
a strong upper level disturbance. Rain chances are expected to
diminish through Friday night. However, the approach of an upper
disturbance is expected to return showers and possible
thunderstorms for the weekend. The offshore flow will become weak
to moderate over the weekend. A weak northeasterly flow is
expected by Monday along with a chance of showers.
