THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PLEASANT HILL HAS ISSUED A HYDROLOGIC
OUTLOOK FOR THE FOLLOWING STREAMS...

...Platte River near Sharps Station...Platte City

This hydrologic outlook is based on the forecast rainfall for the
next 24 hours and estimated runoff from earlier rainfall. Crests may
vary if actual rainfall or runoff is greater or less than
anticipated.

Location: Platte River At Sharps Station
Flood stage: 26.0 feet
Latest stage: 21.8 feet at 1 AM Wednesday
Forecast crest: 28.5 feet Saturday Aug 01
At 29.0 feet...Backwater from the Platte River floods Highway KK
along the Little Platte River at the location 0.2 miles east of
Highway B.

Location: Platte River near Platte City
Flood stage: 20.0 feet
Latest stage: 17.0 feet at 8 PM Tuesday
Forecast crest: 21.5 feet Saturday Aug 01
At 22.0 feet...Flooding occurs at Humphreys Access Area which is
located 5 miles downstream from Platte City. 300 acres of pasture are
also flooded.
