...The Flood Warning continues for the Tombigbee River at Demopolis
Lock and Dam...

Recent rainfall has resulted in rises along the Tombigbee River...and stages
are expected to crest in minor flood range tonight through Sunday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.  Turn Around...Don`t Drown.

Another statement will be issued by Saturday morning...or sooner if
conditions warrant.

...Flood Warning extended until late Sunday night...The Flood Warning
continues for
  The Tombigbee River At Demopolis Lock and Dam.
* until Sunday night...or until the Warning is cancelled.
* At  7:15 PM Friday the stage Was 67.8 feet.
* Flood Stage is 68.0 feet.
* Minor Flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage tonight and continue to rise
  to near 68.6 feet by early Saturday afternoon. The river will fall
  below flood stage by early Sunday afternoon.
* Impact...At 68.0 feet...Flooding of lowlands in the area occurs and
  cattle should be moved to higher ground.
