  Waccamaw At Conway affecting Horry County SC

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People with interests along the river should take the necessary precautions to
protect life and property from the flood waters.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Northeast Cape Fear Near Burgaw.
* until further notice.
* At 8:30 PM Thursday the stage was 13.92 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 13.1 feet by Saturday
  morning.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Floodwaters cause portions of Shaw Highway to be closed
  between Carl Meeks Road and Lillington Lane. White Stocking Road is also
  closed from Chorley Road to Mack Williams Lane. Flooding worsens on Highways
  210 and 53 but roads remain open.

  The Lumber Near Lumberton.
* until Tuesday morning.
* At 7:00 PM Thursday the stage was 14.70 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Monday
  evening.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Flood waters will affect yards in the Pines area, Coxs
  Pond area, and along River Road. Additional residential property will be
  affected between the Pepsi plant and the river on the east side of Lumberton.

* until further notice.
* At 8:00 PM Thursday the stage was 10.65 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 10.4 feet by Saturday
  morning.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet...Flood waters will continue to rise in the Fork Retch
  community located near Nichols. Flood waters will begin to affect some homes
  at Fork Retch. Swampland flooding will increase.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Waccamaw At Conway.
* until further notice.
* At 8:15 PM Thursday the stage was 12.40 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 12.7 feet by Monday morning
  then begin falling.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Flooding will occur in residential areas off Business
  501, Highway 905 and Highway 90. Water levels one foot deep will surround
  approximately 20 homes in the Savannah Bluff area. Flood waters will also
  surround homes in the Lees Landing, Pitch Landing and Riverfront South
  communities. Flooding will occur near a few homes on Oak Street as well as at
  Punch Bowl and Pitch Landing.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Great Pee Dee At Pee Dee.
* until Sunday morning.
* At 8:00 PM Thursday the stage was 20.60 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by late
  Saturday evening.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Flood waters will affect swamplands and logging
  interests. Flood waters will affect timberland as far downstream as Yauhannah
  two weeks after the crest passes Pee Dee. Logging equipment needs to be moved.
