.DISCUSSION...

A strong area of low pressure crossing the region tonight will bring
widespread showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms could
become strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail possible.
The gusty southerly winds ahead of the surface low will shift to the
west, then to the northwest behind the low pressure system.
Thunderstorms should push east into Minnesota by the mid morning
hours on Wednesday with dry, but breezy conditions for the rest of
the day.
