and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
244 PM EST Mon Jan 22 2018

.DISCUSSION...Gulf moisture streaming into the region ahead of an
approaching low pressure system will aid shower and thunderstorm
development tonight. Stronger showers/storms may be accompanied by
gusty surface winds, favoring a SW direction. Areas of fog in shower
cores are possible until the front passes through Tuesday morning.
Dry and cooler air will push in behind the front with west surface and
transport winds at up to 25 to 30 mph. Relative humidities will drop
to around 35 percent. Winds will decrease and dry high pressure will
settle over the region Wednesday through Friday.
