.DISCUSSION...High pressure will briefly build across the area
today producing a weak pressure gradient. Only isolated to widely
scattered convection is forecast today. The chance for showers
and thunderstorms will increase Friday in advance of an approaching
cold front...which will cross the area Saturday.

Surface winds today will be light and variable after daybreak,
then increase to 4 to 8 mph during the afternoon. Transport winds
will be south-southeast 10 mph or less during the afternoon.
Minimum relative humidities will range between 45 and 50 percent.
Patchy fog is possible tonight.

For Friday, transport winds will be southwest 10 to 15 mph with
minimum relative humidities 50 to 60 percent.
