.DISCUSSION...
Periods of showers will affect the Southern Tier counties of
Pennsylvania, including the Lower Susquehanna Valley into
very early this evening before drifting east of the state.
up to an additional two tenths of an inch of rain will
fall to the Southeast of Interstate 81 over the next
several hours. Elsewhere, skies will be mostly cloudy to
cloudy, but it will stay dry and cool.

A north to northwest breeze of 6 to 10 mph will prevail through
the rest of the daylight hours as an area of high pressure builds
east from the upper midwest.

RHs will only dip to between 40 and 50 percent this afternoon.

Clearing will occur from Northwest to Southeast occur this
evening. Dry, cool air will move in from the north.
Temperatures will likely drop below freezing in the ANF
and other valley locations in the northern mountains.
Temperatures should rebound into the upper 50s and lower 60s
statewide under plenty of sunshine on Sunday.The RH will drop
to near 30 percent in the north and into the 40s along the
MD border.

Winds will remain light tonight and Sunday as a ridge of high
pressure moves overhead.
