Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
209 PM CDT Wed Sep 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure located from the Ohio through the Tennessee Valley
and eastern Gulf Coast region will keep warm and humid weather
in place over the next several days. Weak disturbances aloft
may trigger isolated to scattered mainly afternoon and early
evening thunderstorms. The pattern is also supportive of daily
late night and early morning valley fog as well, some of it dense.
With the high pressure in place with weak flow, smoke dispersion
on Thursday will be fair to generally good, but only generally
poor to fair on Friday.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy dense fog is likely
late tonight and early Thursday morning, and again Thursday Night
into Friday morning. LVORI values of 10 are expected both nights.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Red Flag conditions are not
anticipated over the next several days.
