Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
415 AM CDT Sun Jul 23 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Another hot and humid day is expected across the region, which
will create a moist and unstable atmosphere this afternoon.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon
through this evening. A weak front will drop into the region on
Monday, resulting in greater chances for thunderstorms. Given
the very moist boundary layer, wetting rains from these thunderstorms
will be the biggest impact, along with lightning and very localized
40-50 mph wind gusts. This front should drop south of the region by
Tuesday.

Fog potential over the next few days: The development of patchy
late night and early morning fog is possible the next few days.
Fog formation is more likely in and near areas that experience
a good wetting rain. Some of this fog could become locally dense,
with surface visibilities locally reduced to one quarter of a mile.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
