FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
514 AM CDT SAT MAR 28 2015

.DISCUSSION...
A STRONG AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL QUICKLY DIVE SOUTHEASTWARD
ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES AND OHIO VALLEY REGIONS THIS WEEKEND...HELPING
TO MAINTAIN UNSEASONABLY COOL AND DRY WEATHER CONDITIONS ACROSS THE
LOCAL AREA. A COLD FRONT WILL THEN MOVE EASTWARD THROUGH THE REGION
SUN NIGHT...WITH SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING ALONG AND AHEAD
OF THE APPROACHING FRONT. RAIN WILL TAPER OFF FROM THE WEST MON
MORNING WITH THE PASSAGE OF THE COLD FRONT...WITH DRY WEATHER BRIEFLY
RETURNING TO THE CENTRAL TENNESSEE VALLEY. A SERIES OF WEAK UPPER
DISTURBANCES AND ATTENDANT FRONTAL BOUNDARIES AT THE SURFACE WILL
THEN TRAVERSE EASTWARD ACROSS THE REGION STARTING MID WEEK...WITH
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS RETURNING TO THE FORECAST.
