Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
306 PM CST Fri Feb 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...A cold front will move across the region tonight
with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Drier weather will
move in behind the boundary on Saturday. The winds will be breezy
Saturday afternoon and this combined with Rh`s falling into the
low 30 percent range will cause some elevated fire weather concerns
in the afternoon. Surface high pressure ridging will prevail on
Sunday with warmer temps. Moisture will increase across the area
on Monday with showers and thunderstorms possible through mid-week.
