.DISCUSSION...

THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO AND
WEST TEXAS THROUGH THE WEEKEND, IN ADDITION TO A COLD FRONT MOVING
THROUGH THE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT/SATURDAY.  THIS AFTERNOON, RH/S WILL
DROP TO 5 TO 15 PERCENT FROM EDDY COUNTY AND THE GUADALUPE
MOUNTAINS, SOUTH THROUGH THE DAVIS MOUNTAINS, MARFA PLATEAU AND
PRESIDIO VALLEY.  THE HAINES INDEX WILL BE HIGH IN THESE AREAS ALSO.
HOWEVER, 20 FOOT WIND SPEEDS WILL STAY BELOW 20 MPH SUSTAINED AND
CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE NOT EXPECTED.  FOR BOTH
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AFTERNOON, RH/S WILL STAY ABOVE 15 PERCENT.
AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WILL TRY TO BUILD OVER THE REGION THEREAFTER,
SO NORMAL OR ABOVE TEMPERATURES AND DRIER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED.
