FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MELBOURNE FL
318 AM EDT THU MAY 5 2016

.DISCUSSION...A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BE CLEARING EAST CENTRAL
FLORIDA BY AROUND DAYBREAK. BEHIND THE FRONT NORTHWEST WINDS WILL
ADVECT DRIER AND COOLER AIR INTO CENTRAL FLORIDA INTO SUNDAY NIGHT
WHEN WINDS SHIFT TO THE SOUTH THEN SOUTHEAST ALLOWING FOR SOME
VERY GRADUAL MOISTURE RECOVERY.

A FEW TO SEVERAL HOURS OF AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES BELOW
35 PERCENT ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH SUNDAY...ESPECIALLY WEST OF I-95.
WINDS STRONGEST TODAY WITH GRADUAL RELAXATION OF THE PRESSURE
GRADIENT INTO THE WEEKEND.

FUTURE SHIFTS WILL HAVE TO INVESTIGATE THE POTENTIAL NEED FOR FIRE
WEATHER WATCHES FOR THE INTERIOR WHERE THERE MAY BE SEVERAL HOURS
OF RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES OF 35 PERCENT AND BELOW...WITH GRADUALLY
CLIMBING ERC VALUES. THE PRECIPITATION FORECAST REMAINS DRY INTO THE
EXTENDED.

FOG POTENTIAL AND OTHER REMARKS...FOG NOT EXPECTED.
