.DISCUSSION...
Heat will be a concern the next few days as temperatures rise 5
to 10 degrees above normal. Winds will be relatively light through
Tuesday with afternoon west winds ranging from 5 to 15 mph. Wind
speeds increase across the region Wednesday. Southeast California
and southern Gila county will see the strongest winds, with
afternoon westerlies gusting to near 20 to 30 mph. RH minimums
will fall into the single digits for the lower deserts each
afternoon while overnight recoveries will range from 20 to 35%.
