Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
322 PM MDT Sun Apr 30 2017

.Discussion...

A slow warming trend will continue on Monday, with isolated
showers possible over the central mountains. On Tuesday, a
new weather system will bring a chance of showers and
thunderstorms to most of the region, and snow will
again be possible over the mountains.

Much warmer and drier conditions develop for the end of the
week, before a chance of showers and thunderstorms returns
next weekend.

Afternoon smoke dispersion will be good or better across the
region on Monday, and a few spots over the mountains may reach
the excellent category. On Tuesday, afternoon dispersion on the
plains will stay fair to poor, while the mountains stay good
or better as winds at higher elevations will increase.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
