Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC
National Weather Service Blacksburg VA
339 PM EDT Mon May 22 2017

.DISCUSSION...
We will remain in a wet and unsettled pattern through the end of
the week, keeping fire danger low with wet fuels and high humidity
through the period. Low pressure sliding up the slow moving front
to our east will bring a soaking rain to the region mainly east of
the Blue Ridge tomorrow, followed by another widespread rain on
Wednesday, and a good chance of showers again on Thursday.

Dispersion will generally be poor through the period with low
mixing heights and relatively light transport winds as well.
