FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS...
NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...EAST TEXAS...AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SHREVEPORT LA
546 AM CST THU FEB 11 2016

.DISCUSSION...
DRY WEATHER WILL CONTINUE TO PERSIST WITH NO RAIN CHANCES EXPECTED
UNTIL SUNDAY. THE FIRST IN A SERIES OF COLD FRONTS WILL MOVE
ACROSS THE AREA BEGINNING TODAY. TEMPERATURES SHOULD BE WELL ABOVE
NORMAL AREAWIDE...LIKELY WELL ABOVE 70 DEGREES ALONG AND SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 20. THE FIRST FRONT WILL BRING SLIGHTLY COOLER
TEMPERATURES FOR FRIDAY FOLLOWED BY A STRONGER REINFORCING FRONT
WHICH WILL TAKE TEMPERATURES BACK DOWN TO NEAR SEASONAL NORMS FOR
SATURDAY. DRY WESTERLY WINDS WILL KEEP AFTERNOON MINIMUM RELATIVE
HUMIDITY VALUES GENERALLY BELOW 35 PERCENT TODAY. HOWEVER...A
SMALL INCREASE IN RH VALUES IS EXPECTED...TO BETWEEN 35 AND 45
PERCENT...FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND INTO
MONDAY STILL APPEAR TO BE THE MOST LIKELY OPPORTUNITIES FOR RAIN
ACROSS THE AREA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE GENERALLY EXPECTED TO BE
BETWEEN A HALF INCH TO AN INCH ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA.
