Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Wyoming and WRN South Dakota

.DISCUSSION...A storm system will move into the area tonight, with
rain developing across northeast Wyoming and much of western South
Dakota. Rain will change over to snow across these areas late tonight
and early Tuesday. Snowfall up to several inches is expected over most
of northeast Wyoming, the Black Hills and portions of the western South
Dakota plains by midday Tuesday. Higher amounts of snow, around 6 inches,
are likely over the higher elevations of the northern Black Hills and
Bear Lodge Mountains. A dry day is expected on Wednesday, but unsettled
weather will return for Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will stay below
average through the rest of the week.
