ECC002-270500-
WEST YREKA-
DISCUSSION FOR...WESTERN KLAMATH
354 AM PDT SAT JUL 26 2014

A THERMAL TROUGH IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL RESULT IN HOT WEATHER
TODAY WITH GENTLE BREEZES, BUT ALSO VERY LOW AFTERNOON RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES. RECOVERIES TONIGHT WILL ALSO BE POOR TO MODERATE OVER
THE MID SLOPES AND RIDGES. SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL BRING MONSOONAL
MOISTURE NORTHWARD INTO THE AREA BEGINNING SUNDAY WITH A SLIGHT
CHANCE OF AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS. AN UPPER TROUGH OFFSHORE WILL
ALLOW DISTURBANCES TO RIDE NORTHWARD INTO THE AREA MONDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY WITH INCREASING THUNDERSTORM CHANCES. STORMS LIKELY START
OUT DRY THEN TREND WETTER WITH TIME. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN WELL
ABOVE NORMAL NEXT WEEK.
