...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVING ACROSS NORTHERN NEVADA WILL BRING
A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO NORTHERN PORTIONS OF
THE AREA WITH GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY OTHERWISE. SOME BREEZY
CONDITIONS WILL LINGER THURSDAY WITH MAINLY DRY CONDITIONS. HOWEVER,
THERE COULD BE A FEW SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN EASTERN
LINCOLN COUNTY. SOME AREAS COULD EXPERIENCE NEAR CRITICAL FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS THURSDAY AFTERNOON. FRIDAY WILL SEE EVEN COOLER
TEMPERATURES BEFORE A WARMING TREND MOVES IN OVER THE WEEKEND. WINDS
ARE NOT A CONCERN OVER THE WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A COOLING TREND STARTING TODAY WILL CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY AS A
TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE MOVES THROUGH CALIFORNIA. THE TROUGH WILL
ALSO CREATE STRONG AND GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND
DESERTS, ALONG WITH AN INCREASINGLY DEEPER MARINE LAYER, WHICH WILL
INCREASE THE HUMIDITY EACH DAY AS WELL. STRENGTHENING HIGH PRESSURE
ALOFT WILL THEN BRING WARMING AND DRYING SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY,
WITH WEAKER WINDS AND MODERATE TO GOOD OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES. A
TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE MAY DEVELOP NEAR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA DURING
MID NEXT WEEK, BRINGING HIGHER HUMIDITY AND COOLING.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

HOT AND DRY CONDITIONS, ALONG WITH BREEZY WESTERLY WINDS, WILL
RESULT IN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS AREA-WIDE THROUGH FRIDAY.
TODAY WILL BE THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE WEEK, WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES
PEAKING AT 102-106 ACROSS THE LOWER DESERTS, BEFORE BECOMING
SLIGHTLY COOLER TOMORROW. WESTERLY WINDS WILL RANGE BETWEEN
10-20 MPH ACROSS SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA, TO 20-30 MPH ACROSS
SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA THIS AFTERNOON, WITH STRONGER GUSTS POSSIBLE.
WINDS WILL REMAIN BREEZY OVERNIGHT, AND WILL BE SLIGHTLY STRONGER
TOMORROW AFTERNOON. HUMIDITY VALUES WILL BOTTOM OUT INTO THE SINGLE
DIGITS EACH AFTERNOON.
