AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH IS APPROACHING THE AK RANGE FROM THE NORTH
TODAY. THIS WILL BEGIN TO BRING SLIGHTLY COOLER AIR OVER THE AREA.
ALTHOUGH ANOTHER WARM...SUNNY...AND DRY DAY IS EXPECTED OVER THE SAR
AREA TODAY...HIGH TEMPERATURE WILL BE A FEW DEGREES COOLER THAN
SATURDAY.

AS THE TROUGH/FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE AREA LATER TODAY AND
TONIGHT...A SIGNIFICANT COOLING TREND WILL BEGIN. BY MONDAY
SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED.

MATANUSKA RIVER LEVELS...WATER LEVELS ALONG THE MATANUSKA RIVER NEAR
PALMER ARE PEAKING THIS MORNING AND WILL FALL LESS THAN ONE FOOT BY
THIS EVENING. WATER LEVELS WILL THEN BEGIN TO RISE AGAIN OVERNIGHT
THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...WITH TOTAL RISE OF ABOUT ONE FOOT.
