THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL
MINNESOTA...CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SNOW WILL DEVELOP TODAY ACROSS WESTERN AND SOUTHERN SOUTH DAKOTA AND
SPREAD NORTH AND EAST. HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED ALONG AND SOUTH
OF INTERSTATE 90...WHERE CONFIDENCE IS HIGH THAT THIS SYSTEM WILL
BRING AROUND 10 INCHES OF SNOW. CONFIDENCE IN SNOW AMOUNTS DROP TO
THE NORTH AND EAST...HOWEVER 3-6 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE SOUTH OF
HIGHWAY 212 ACROSS CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA. TO THE NORTH OF HIGHWAY
212...AND EAST OF HIGHWAY 281...SNOWFALL ESTIMATES DROP EVEN
LOWER...ON THE ORDER OF 1-3 INCHES WITH AN INCH OR LESS ACCUMULATION
NORTH OF HIGHWAY 12. WIND GUSTS ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE SYSTEM
WILL ONLY TOP OUT AROUND 20 TO 30MPH EARLY WEDNESDAY...AND WHILE
THIS MAY RESULT IN DRIFTING...VISIBILITY IS NOT EXPECTED TO BE
SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACTED ONCE THE SNOW HAS STOPPED FALLING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
