THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH TEXAS AND THE MIDDLE
TEXAS COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY OVER THE
COASTAL BEND/VICTORIA CROSSROADS AND OVER THE ADJACENT BAYS AND
COASTAL WATERS. MUCH OF THE SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY
LATER TONIGHT WILL BE CONFINED TO THE COASTAL WATERS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TUESDAY. A FEW
STORMS MAY PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL.

AN INCREASE IN LONG PERIOD SWELL...ASSOCIATED WITH TROPICAL
DEPRESSION 9 LOCATED ACROSS THE EXTREME SE GULF OF MEXICO...MAY
OCCUR LATE THIS WEEK ALONG GULF FACING BEACHES. THIS INCREASE IN
LONG PERIOD SWELL MAY LEAD TO AN HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS LATE THIS
WEEK AND INTO THE LABOR DAY WEEKEND.
