This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Georgia,
lower piedmont North Carolina and portions of upstate South
Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected today.
Mainly general thunderstorms are favored, however a few strong to
severe storms cannot be ruled out. The primary threats with any of
the stronger storms will be damaging winds, cloud to ground
lightning, and heavy rainfall. In addition, heat indices will
approach and possibly exceed 100 degrees. See the latest Special
