THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
ILLINOIS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A WINTER STORM WILL SPREAD PRECIPITATION INTO THE AREA LATER
TODAY. WHILE THE PRECIPITATION WILL INITIALLY BE IN THE FORM OF
RAIN...IT WILL CHANGE TO SNOW TONIGHT WITH SEVERAL INCHES OF
ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE BY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

THE ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL PERSIST INTO SUNDAY...EVENTUALLY
TAPERING OFF DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. A STORM
TOTAL OF 6 TO 9 INCHES IS ANTICIPATED...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. NORTHEAST WINDS WILL GUST AS HIGH AS 30 MPH
SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING WHICH COULD ALSO CAUSE BLOWING AND
DRIFTING OF THE NEW SNOW.
