...AREAS OF FOG REDUCING VISIBILITIES ACROSS THE LAGUNA MADRE AND
NEARSHORE GULF WATERS...

Satellite observations and local webcam images indicate that
areas of fog are expanding over portions of the Laguna Madre and
Lower Texas Gulf waters out to 20 nautical miles offshore.
Visibilities are fluctuating and vary greatly from the near shore
waters and across the Laguna Madre as a warm and brisk
southeasterly surface flow will continue tonight. Visibilities
will range from 1 to 2 miles with some areas dropping below 1
mile at times later tonight through early Saturday morning. The
marine fog is expected to lift later Saturday morning and
afternoon.

Mariners are urged to reduce speed and maintain a lookout for
other vessels, buoys, and breakwaters. In addition, keep your
navigation lights on. Consider returning to or remaining in port,
especially if your vessel is not equipped to handle the reduced
visibility.
