THIS STATEMENT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:

  WATERS FROM LOWER ATCHAFALAYA RIVER TO INTRACOASTAL CITY LA FROM 20
  TO 60 NM.
  WATERS FROM INTRACOASTAL CITY TO CAMERON LA FROM 20 TO 60 NM.
  COASTAL WATERS FROM INTRACOASTAL CITY TO CAMERON LA OUT 20 NM.

AT 551 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS...PRODUCING STRONG WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...4
MILES WEST OF VERMILION 78...OR 30 MILES SOUTH OF WHITE
LAKE...MOVING SOUTH AT 40 KNOTS.

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. IF CAUGHT ON THE
OPEN WATER STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE...KEEP AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED
METAL OBJECTS.
