THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  COASTAL WATERS OF NORTHWESTERN PUERTO RICO OUT 10 NM...
  COASTAL WATERS OF SOUTHWESTERN PUERTO RICO OUT 10 NM...

AT 132 PM AST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS, HEAVY RAIN AND
FREQUENT LIGHTNING. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED OVER THE WATERS
JUST WEST OF MAYAGUEZ AND CABO ROJO MUNICIPALITIES. THE THUNDERSTORM
WAS NEARLY STATIONARY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE SUDDEN WATERSPOUTS. WATERSPOUTS CAN EASILY
OVERTURN BOATS AND CREATE LOCALLY HAZARDOUS SEAS. SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY.
