.OFFSHORE FLOW WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE THIS MORNING BEHIND A
STRONG COLD FRONT. STRONG PRESSURE RISES ALONG WITH A TIGHT
PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL RESULT IN GALE FORCE CONDITIONS OVER THE
MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS NEAR STORM
FORCE OVER THE OFFSHORE GULF WATERS. WINDS WILL DIMINISH OVER THE
BAYS AND NEARSHORE WATERS THIS AFTERNOON...BUT SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORY CONDITIONS WILL FOLLOW ONCE THE GALE FORCE WINDS AND WIND
GUSTS DIMINISH. SEAS WILL BECOME VERY HAZARDOUS AND CHAOTIC.
MARINERS ESPECIALLY IN SMALL CRAFT ARE ENCOURAGED TO REMAIN IN
PORT TODAY.
