...TROPICAL STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE COASTAL WATERS
FROM OREGON INLET TO CAPE LOOKOUT...

.TROPICAL DEPRESSION EIGHT...CURRENTLY ABOUT 260 MILES SOUTHEAST
OF CAPE HATTERAS... WILL APPROACH FROM THE SOUTHEAST THROUGH
TUESDAY. SEAS OF 7 TO 13 FEET IN LONG PERIOD SWELLS... UPWARDS OF
13 TO 15 SECONDS... WILL BEGIN IMPACTING THE COASTAL WATERS TODAY.
SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES WILL REMAIN FOR THE NORTHERN WATERS OFF
DUCK AND SOUTHERN WATERS OFF ONSLOW BAY... HOWEVER SHOULD THE
TROPICAL SYSTEM MAKE A CLOSER APPROACH TO THE WATERS...THESE AREAS
COULD SEE TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS AND MAY BE ADDED TO THE
TROPICAL WATCH LATER.
