.NOW...
Through 800 pm, scattered showers and possibly a few thunderstorms
will impact the gulf waters, Florida Keys, and nearshore waters
surrounding the island chain. Storm motion will me southwest near 10
knots. Mariners encountering these showers can expect wind gusts
near 25 knots, periods of moderate to heavy rain, reduction of
visibilities to around 2 miles, and possibly an occasional lightning
strikes. On land, the most likely areas to receive rainfall will be
from Big Pine Key to Marathon, and also near Key Largo.
